Akodo Akihito

Lion

What is known

S19Kin to Okoto Sakuon, connected to Monban and Kazumi, and his recent service is what persuaded Kitsu Takeko.
S24Dreamed the location of a sealed jar and dug it up. Inside were the unedited field records of the Snow Plain, a Shosuro-sealed letter, an unsigned treaty, and a skeleton.
S44Akodo Toturi's nephew — which puts him close enough to the Lion succession to answer the insult by marriage. Holds a Unicorn prisoner. His castle is the column's destination.
Took the duel because he could not refuse it in that room, and lost his left eye to it, permanently. Freshly titled Renowned Warrior, beaten in front of his uncle, his sensei and every Lion officer of consequence. Midori has been treating him.
S48One-eyed, doing paperwork under an embroidered patch, and gracious about it. Expects not to be chosen as the Lion delegate. Conceded that the Phoenix are owed and that the wronged woman is owed a debt of honour in her own right. Arranged for the women to have Miharu alone.
S50Speaks for the Lion, and is the lowest in standing of his own delegation, with Kage seated above and behind him. Refused the request to free Miharu in immaculately polite calligraphy of his own hand. Presented half an hour of Lion demands and meant them to be seen as reasonable — he is not trying to slip anything past the bench. His giri is to serve Toturi however told, but what he believes he is for is field command. He twitched when Ikari's treatment was enumerated.
S51Confirmed the Lion position that the broken engagement justified the incursion, and was asked in the same breath what redress the Phoenix and the Unicorn are owed for a groom who was not free to be offered. Afterwards accused Midori of arranging a second humiliation for him deliberately.
S52Came back after the recess in an entirely different register — the Lion razed nothing, answered no insult with insult, killed only warriors defending their homes, and he praised the Unicorn for their courage. He calls the war a duel writ large between clans rather than champions, presently undecided, and says this is the moment to step back before someone takes a blow they cannot answer. The Lion are prepared to settle. Someone has given him new orders.

Each line is what she took from the session it cites, and nothing else. The Archivist's own account of this person is not reproduced here — it blends what she saw with what she did not.
