The Hall of Ancestors is located within a waystation on the border of the Kitsu Family and Akodo provinces, near a small lake. This area features a shrine dedicated to the Lake Kami, maintained jointly by the Kitsu Family and Akodo clans. The climate is notably cold, which is felt during tea ceremonies. The shrine serves as a site of reverence for making offerings to ancestors, particularly for members of the Lion Clan.
The hall is administered by Kitsu Family samurai, who are distant relatives of the Kitsu Family daimyō and include both pureblood and vassal lineages among the hosts.
