There is no record of this session. What follows is the seven lines the next session opened with, and nothing has been added to them.
Bayushi Monban insulted the governor and the lord of the castle, was put off the island, and by the end of the night had drawn steel on Karahaya's ronin and been called out by Karahaya for a Warrior's Duel on the docks.
He also found evidence of assassins. The recap gives no more of it than that.
Shiba Midori was poisoned — deliberately, not by accident of the sickroom — and was being tended by shugenja.
The shinobi were still loose on Central Island.
Setsuna
This is a hole in her record and it should be treated as one. Her yojimbo was thrown off the island, insulted the host the embassy's welcome depends on, and accepted a duel with the officer commanding that host's guard — and the first she or anyone else will hear of the detail is secondhand. She does not know what he said, to whom, or in front of how many.
What she can act on is the shape. Shiba Midori was poisoned on purpose, which makes it two magistrates attacked inside one week. The assassins left evidence Bayushi Monban was able to find. And the man sworn to stand between her and a blade is now committed to stand in front of a different one, for a reason that has nothing to do with the envoy.
