Monban awoke surrounded by three women and attempted a cleansing prayer to alleviate his hangover. He later received information from a serving girl about a young lord who had left in haste. Kakita Kazumi planned to search Monban's quarters during his absence, indicating the room's significance to others. As Ryu opened the door to fetch clothes for Monban, Kazumi noticed a box-like object inside, suggesting the presence of items of importance.
